The next date Leo and Kate had as friends was nearly a month later.  The contractors had several delays when building his new dinner theatre.  Finally, the business, which he named The Limelight, was ready to open its doors.  He wanted Cate to be there on opening night and invited her backstage to watch him perform a small part in the first production.

The place was sold out.  Leo was nervous, causing him to pace back and forth.  Kate grabbed his hand and smiled reassuringly.  “You’re going to be brilliant.”

“Why do I always believe you?”
