Kate continuously stared out the window of the jet for a distraction.  She couldn’t imagine spending one day without Leo.  He had been a lifesaver from the moment she met him.  On the rare days she didn’t get to see him in person, she could at least give him a call.  She wanted him with her that very moment.

They arrived in Paris at almost three in the afternoon.  A driver was waiting to transport them to a quaint three-bedroom house right outside the city.  A nursery had already been set up for Blake and Cameron.  Kate immersed herself into unpacking the children’s clothes and toys.

When starting on her own belongings, she realized a potential complication.  She traipsed into the living room and questioned Nathan, “Where are you going to sleep...
