Kate had to try really hard sometimes to visualize her mother and father’s faces.  She still managed to picture them in her head and had numerous memories of the fun times they had together.  Shane would barely be able to remember his parents at his age, and Blake would have no recollection at all.  She was grieving for both the children and herself.  Not only had she lost more family, but Clay was the one person she had always been able to count on.
