As soon as Kate walked through the door of the mansion, Sebastian informed her that Edward was waiting to speak with her.  She stepped into his office and was instructed to have a seat.  “Katherine, I’m going to get right to the point.  I received word from Somerfield that your divorce was finalized today.”

Kate was relieved and a little sad at the same time.  She had loved Nathan.  They created two beautiful children together.  She would have been with him forever, but he ruined their intimate bond with his duplicitous behavior.  Now she had no choice but to move on. 

“I would ask how you made it happen so quickly, but I probably don’t want to know.”
