The couple's supposedly simulated sexual encounter had gone far better than Clay expected.  He never imagined in his wildest dreams Kate would reciprocate his desire.  He hadn’t lost his touch after all.  She made constant declarations of love for his dear brother, but was definitely feeling something for him.  He leaned back on the pillows with a huge grin on his face.  She was his wife, and he planned on keeping her.
