Leo grabbed Nathan’s arm and he yelled out in pain to make his wife think he was hurt more than he really was.  Kate remembered his injury and took her fiancé’s hand.  “It’s okay.  I’ll take him upstairs and speak to him just a few minutes.”

Kate furiously rushed up the stairs with Nathan closely behind.  When he had her inside the bedroom, he closed and locked the door.  Then he pressed her back up against it with his body and his lips smothered hers.  He had been waiting for this kiss since he left his precious angel sleeping in the bed undisturbed.

She wasn’t thinking and pressed against his shoulders to try to get away.  He winced with pain and called out, “Owww!”
