              With only three days until the full moon, tensions in the castle thickened the air, and occupants wore the hard, strained expressions of people carrying great weights on their chests. The lower levels of the eastern wing were hot and stuffy from the forges beneath. Atalanta explained that the underground forges hadn’t been used since the Extermination. Outside forges had been created long ago to better suit the preferences of the elves, and those were in use, too, but the old dwarf-crafted forges were larger and better equipped.
