Merry go round 

In my mind 

like a memory not really there

but the memory 

of a being I dearly love

lingering

in my mind

forever

I sit there your little cowgirl

on her majestic horse

you sitting there behind me

securing me from behind

being my guard and not letting anything bad happen

Merry go round in my mind

and I miss you

but yet like a merry go round

you go round and round in my mind

The music

the memory 

the gloriousness of you

I sit there your little 

cowgirl and you my father

there behind me guarding me

bravely

holding my back

dusting away all the bruises
