Author Bio For Soyla Veronica C. Rivera:

I Soyla Verónica Chávez Rivera am the oldest of four children. I am originally from Oakland California I was born in 1977 and lived there until early 1988 when my family then moved to Danville California, the place I would find my voice in the silence of what was me sitting in an English Literature class room where it was hard for me to memorize Shakespear but where I fell in love with the ease of writting. I attended both DiabloValley College as well as San Francisco State University where shortly before aquiring my B.A. degree I met my now husband and the one along with my father has pushed me to write and never give up. I am a very sensative person and can persive many things and have dipped into many different types of genres in my writing. A lot of things I write are a picture of life as I know it and things around me but some of the deeper ones can be a mixture of myself and what is inside of me and deep witihin my own soul. Shortly before marrying my husband I briefly moved to Sunnyvale California to now again be back home, in Oakland California. Just how every place I have lived in has been different so is my series filled with short stories and poetry. I hope you enjoy and thank you all for stopping by.
