     The bacon and eggs were hot and delicious.  Daddy had poured just a hair of maple syrup on each slice of bacon, then baked them on the oven until they were sizzling and crispy, the syrup sweetening them some.  He added some spices to the eggs, and I had forgotten how good he could really cook.  Almost a male Julia Child!
