“I have an assignment for you, but I’ll call later and fill you in.”

     “Thanks.  I’d really appreciate it.”

     No sooner than I hung up from my boss, then my aunt called.  She said my uncle had a touch of stomach flu, and they, and the kids, hadn’t gone to synagogue this morning.  They had heard of the tragedy, of course, and knew those wounded and killed.  I asked if she had called my dad to let him know they were all okay, and she said she had, right before me.  What a relief!  I felt so bad for the families who had lost loved ones,  but breathed out a heavy sigh my family was safe and okay.

     I called my boss back.
