This is dedicated to all the 9/11 heroes, in the Towers and on the ground.  Your memories we cherish and hold dear as what true Americans really are.

      It was so hot up there he could barely stand it.  Flames were everywhere and bodies were laying dead all around, or were scrambling to get to him, thinking he could show them the way out.  He was wearing a fireman’s uniform, so they were looking to him for guidance and help.  He was waving them to him.

     “C’mon, this way, this way!” he yelled over and over at the top of his lungs.

     People minded him, walked the way he showed them to go, through the smoke, and heat, and small fires, here and there.
