I was so heartbroken.  He’ll tell you I mourned for you like I had lost my mom all over again.”  Tears ran slowly down my cheeks and I wiped them away.  “My peace was that you two were hanging out up in Heaven together.”

     “I’m really sorry, Clementine.  I don’t know what to say.”

     I could tell she wanted to touch my hand or hug me, show me some kind of comfort for my long ago loss.  The Diana part couldn’t overrule the more reserved and re-taught Sophie part.
