It’s been a stressful, but not totally overwhelming, few days. There hasn’t been much sleep.

     I went back to the jewelry place Wednesday morning and put a deposit on a diamond. H-- asked me why I was late for work, but I redirected the conversation to our trip. I told her we could scrap the museum and spend a long weekend in Clearwater. She was thrilled. If she’s half as excited when I propose, I’ll be happy. We spent our lunch hour looking at hotels.

     When I got home yesterday, I made an appointment with my realtor. I want to discuss strategies for unloading my house quickly, and divulge some information about H--’s property. We have some cards, and we should play our best hand.
