People are strange. Someone should write a song about it.

     I went in for an oil change today. What a mistake. I didn’t realize it was “$5 Off” day until after I turned over my keys.

     The tiny lobby was crammed with people. There were six chairs, but only four of them were occupied. Five people were standing. I didn’t think much about it. Some people prefer to stand.

     Four of the chairs were lined up in a row against the front window. One of the middle chairs was empty. The small space between the coffee station and the wall was where the other two chairs were planted. Usually, that’s an ideal space.
