AJ’s fundraising stuff got dropped off Friday night. T-- came over to help me unwrap the pallets and move the boxes into the garage so my sister would be ready to go in the morning.
“I hope I never have kids,” he said. “They’re a lot of work.”
“To be fair,” I told him, “I think my sister sold a lot of this stuff.”
“Why bother?”
I laughed. “First place was probably a spa day.”
We did our best to organize by product. The boxes were mostly full of candles, wrapping paper, and chocolate.
“I’m hungry,” T-- said. “Any of this chocolate belong to you?”<...
