My sister convinced me to take some time off from work and visit with her and AJ at The Lodge. What a goldmine. It’s a hotel, but really, it’s an attraction. The building houses an indoor waterpark with slides, an arcade, batting cages, and a bowling alley. There are a handful of kid-friendly restaurants that all shut down at nine and one adults-only eatery that serves alcohol. That place never closes.

     The kids are out of school because of winter vacation. My sister booked three nights at The Lodge hoping for some nice memories. She wasn’t the only one.
