For a month there was a buzz about the Wholly Bean being built across the street. When it finally opened though, very few people actually went over for coffee. Most didn’t like the idea of crossing the street and dealing with the crosswalk twice. Just about everyone still preferred the free coffee in the breakroom.
That is, until the sushi crowd started showing up with their lattes.
One by one the lower class, those not invited for sushi on Fridays, began to cross the street for their lattes. The sushi crowd, I’m sure, thought this was beautiful.
