I’ve never seen T-- so happy. He’s dating a model now. She seems like the real deal. She has an agent and everything.

     We went into the city tonight to see her show at the Expo Center. I haven’t been to the Expo in years.

     Dad used to take me as a kid. We went to the boat show and every year, until I was about thirteen, I thought we were coming home with a boat. At fourteen, I realized Dad was attending for the models- the girls, not the boats. When I was seventeen and Dad didn’t want to go, I offered to buy the tickets. Then, at twenty, I built my own boat. That had nothing to do with Dad. It had everything to do with Thoreau.
