Mikey held out a megaphone. King Donnie took it and spoke into the wrong end.

Queen Melanoma turned it around and showed him which button to press.

After an ear-splitting shriek of feedback, Donnie said, “You’re supposed to call me Awesome!”

“You promised us health care!” another peasant shouted.

The puny crowd chanted: “Health care! Health care!”

“King Bamma-bamma promised that, not me!” King Donnie whined.

He started to stamp his foot—then thought better of it, and said, “I have something even better!”

Silence reigned—except for the chants of demonstrators all over Merrycow: pee-pee on that wall.

“Yes, you will all have the Wonder Cure!”

The micro-crowd looked bewilder...
