Melanoma, sighed, her attention waning. “There will be ice cream at the wake.”
“I’m awake now,” Donnie argued, beginning to pout.
“Oh, let him have some ice cream,” said Michael McPrince, Regent of Merrycow, as he strode through the doorway without waiting to be announced. “He’s the new king—and you’re not!”
