My mind raced. I wondered if I had done something wrong. Were those who put me here mad at me? Did they leave me? Was I dead? A thousand questions flashed in my mind, until I began to stare at the door.

I hadn’t thought about it in so long. The world on the other side of the door seemed unreal. It seemed fake. All that existed on the other side of that door now was only a projection of my dreams.
