Emperor Trump opened his mouth to retort, then paused. His younger self had made an excellent point.

“Okay, I’ll give you that,” elder Donald said. “But your response to the hurricanes—all 5 of them…”

“Three.”

“…make the situation worse.”

“Nope.”

“It did! You… I made George W. Bush’s fumbling of New Orleans look like a smart game plan.”
