Eventually, all the vassals recovered. Before his Majesty took office, they had previously passed special health care bills just for themselves and the treatment they received thereunder lead to a speedy and full recovery, the cost of which was charged to the royal treasury. But when they returned to work they all were just plain sick and tired of all this talk about health care and so they tabled the King’s proposed law and put it on indefinite hold. They found all this health care talk distasteful and so they decided to move on to something more palatable like tax cuts for the wealthy. They would deal with health care later, perhaps on the day the whole healthcare system collapsed, went into convulsions and died a painful death. In the meantime, the people would just have to suffer.
