Returning to Paris after 31 years, after our first full day we went in search of our old haunt, Le Desosse (The Boneless Man), a bistro on Rue des Ciseaux (Street of Scissors). During our stay those many years ago, we ate a predominant number of meals in this friendly restaurant, our favorite. We tried elsewhere, but always drifted back to Le Desosse. We must have consumed a lot of mayonnaise and eggs as a first course, because when we think about those meals, that's what comes prominently to mind.
