“Look, guys… I just want to go home and lay my head on my own damn pillow.” Jack’s voice could have come from the throat of a pack-a-day man, and he coughed up a mass of phlegm. The jet taxied toward the private hangar, light spilling out the huge door like trapped sunshine. The arguing over what to do next had begun on approach and hadn’t let up since.
