Beth set her tray aside and stretched in the low-ceilinged cabin, her back popping like bubble-wrap.  Janice gave her an amused look but said nothing, engaged in sipping her wine.  They had been in the air less than two hours, and all during that time disturbing thoughts ran through the young woman’s head.  The problem was she couldn’t talk to any of the four nearby about her concerns.  She needed an outsider’s viewpoint, and the only one that fit that bill was Maribel.  Sure.  That’s why I’m going back there.  She took the first step before she could talk herself out of it, shuffling past Jack and the others toward the back of the plane.  Maribel glanced up at her as she approached, then quickly back do...
