“No,” said Titus. He turned around to leave.
“Wait, wait, dude, how about your first-born child?” the man called after him.
“Nope,” Titus said, walking back the way they had come. “Not worth it, and that’s considering I probably would not have a kid just to spite you.”
“Wait, okay, dude, how about a burrito and a Slurpee from the gas station up the road?”
Titus stopped and smiled. He wiped the smile off his face before he turned back around.
“The manager kicked me out, said my smell was scaring away customers. You get me those and we're copasetic.”
“You drive a hard bargain,” Titus said, considering it. “Swear it, and we have a pact.”
