That night, Titus dropped his bag on the floor of his room before falling on his bed. His brain had been running in overdrive all day. He needed it to calm down, needed sleep, but he didn’t have time for that—there were bigger things at stake.
He was still trying to learn more about what had happened. He had been thinking about it all day and wasn't any closer—he had been thinking about it for weeks. If only he knew X, then Y would be obvious, but to be able to know X, he had to first know Z, and to know Z, he had to understand Y.
