“What?” Jenna asked with a mouthful of food. Tess shook her head and finished her own bite of food before responding.

“I was talking to Titus, sorry. I meant, what's the worst that could happen?”

“Not to ruin a completely repetitive argument, but aren't your two favorite people over there?” Shade said, sliding up the wall behind Titus.

Tess looked over in the direction Shade mentioned in time to see Jeremy exit the lunch line carrying Kelly's tray.
