“Shut up, Shade,” Titus said, not caring if anyone heard him.

“You see! This is what I warned you all about! He's crazy! First, he almost rips my arm off, and then he acts like he's going to kill someone by waving at them,” Jeremy screamed. “And he’s always talking to himself!” Jeremy’s face had gone red with frustration. “My dad warned me about you! Doctor Archibald Damon, sound familiar?”

It didn't. Titus couldn't remember any of the doctors, but Shade's fresh round of hysterical laughter told Titus that Shade did.

“Old Spectacles! How's he doing? Did his hand ever recover?”

“No, sorry, doesn't ring any bells,” Titus lied...
