On Tuesday morning, Tom and Tiffany were in the hospital again. She was running a fever and had a small cough. It happened overnight and it frustrated Tom. Despite the surgical mask and the constant cleaning of the house, her immune system was just too weak.
Doctor Mehta admitted Tiffany as a precaution. Tom raised his voice, saying that the hospital should have never released her in the first place. Cancer was having its way with his emotions and overall mental well-being. He hated the hospital, but they needed it and he hated that he needed it. Everything about the place raked on Tom’s nerves.
