Monday was a busy day for the hospital. It seemed that they scheduled everyone for their CAT scans, MRIs, and chemotherapy sessions on a Monday. Tom hoped that they could get in before their scheduled time and arrived an hour early. Two hours later, a nurse finally called Tiffany in for her treatment. Tom was not a happy camper.

 

He sat alone in a lounge on the main floor doing a USA Today crossword that someone left behind. As per his usual, he avoided actually reading any news articles.
