Usually the ride home would be much needed decompression from a hectic work day. After meeting and deadlines she needed the long drive to calm down. She used this time as a cherished alone time where she prepared to be the best mom and wife she could be leaving behind her work stresses. The ride home today felt different deep down in her belly.
