She closed the door quickly to keep the blowing, snowy air out.  It chased her from the doors of the funeral home. Luckily her remote start worked and the car was toasty warm.  The tears in her eyes thawed as she sat back in the warm seat. This was a day she really had not expected a year ago when her friend took time off due to  a sickness. She reluctantly put the car into drive and moved forward out of the parking lot. While it was light outside, the winter sunshine was hidden behind the low clouds that blanketed the sky.  Could this day be any more gloomy? She pondered as she slowly drove along the city roads stopping often due to traffic.
