It had been almost 10 years since she saw one of her childhood friends and almost as many for the other.  One lived in the same state but took a different life path which resulted in the lack of visits. The other lived across the country.  Her belly was full; her head a little dizzy from perhaps one too many glasses of wine, but there was a huge smile across her face. “I haven’t laughed that hard in a while!” was announced from the seat to her left.  Another of her very good friends was bringing her home after this memorable night. They stayed in contact after college, during marriages and growing families. They lived near each other and visited several times of year meeting for playdates with their girls.
