As she fell into the bucket seat of her red sedan, she noted the sun now in the sky. This morning when she left, the sky was dark and lonely as the moon cast shadows on the wet morning. The weather earlier reflected the feelings she had been dreading. How did she ever arrive at this point? It was inevitable; she had to unwillingly persist. Early this morning the clock released the moan of the alarm; how she hated that alarm. These past months had been to date the best of her entire life. The calendar kept reminding her though that it was all coming to an end. April 4th had arrived. In the darkness of the kitchen 10 hours earlier, the coffee called to her promising a boost to get this all done. She was not mentally prepared, but couldn’t avoid it. She had to go back to work.
