Lordy but I am absent minded these days. Do you know I wrote something to publish here just a week ago? Yes, and as you can see, I did exactly that. 

Oh, wait. No. I did not. 

Am I getting old? 

Am I just this stupid? 

I mean, I know I'm getting older. That's a given for all of us, isn't it? 

It's really that second question that gnaws at my mind. It causes no end of frustration. 

It isn't just the absent-mindedness, either. I cannot understand things that I'm reading. I don't remember things... and the writing is so stalled, I'm about to quit. 

And there lies the rub. I like writing. Love it, in fact. But I have this sinking feeling I'm not so good. And why waste my time? I have over 2000 b...
