he said. “I’m gonna need to see you on a regular basis for exams and such and we need to start you on some good food and vitamins.  I know I can’t stop the training but I can tell you to be careful and if you need to stop, stop dammit!”

   “So it is true,” Arc said.

   “What’s true,” asked Sara, not wanting to be left out?

   “I’m pregnant,” Trace confessed.  “When I was on the roof with Irith, we…  well, you know.”

   Arc spoke eerily as if in a trance.  “The child of the chosen one, the man Irith seeks is his own son.  There is no doubt, it is him.”
