Adagio of Disaster

   (Shentari, Capital of the World of Aran- circa 301 years after the Mazule genocide)

   Kagyra woke up and as usual, he bumped his head on the ceiling.  He was on the top bunk with his brother Irith sleeping underneath. His big head crashing through the ceiling woke him up.

   “What are you doing Kay,” he asked, sleepy?

   Kagyra brushed the drywall out of his eyes and slid out of bed.  He landed on the hard floor and the whole room shook.

   Irith rolled over and scolded him.  “You’re too big for the top, little broth...
