I pulled up a chair and sat down. “Why’s that?”

“Well, I checked other cameras in the area to see if I could track them, either where they’re coming from or where they are going. Nothing. I can only see the creatures on this camera’s video. It’s a new installation. Only a week old.” She motioned with her chin at the screen. “Just across the street is a new moving and storage facility. The camera is theirs.”

I thought I saw where she was going with this. “You’re thinking that McDonald knows where all the cameras are in the area, and he’s instructed the werewolves to avoid them.”
