has coexisted with the natural world for as long as there’s been life on earth. When humanity was still ruled by superstition, it didn’t matter much when things happened without rational explanation. They thought the world just worked that way.

Then the Renaissance happened, and humans started looking for explanations. As long as humans believe we don’t exist, we’re fairly safe. But if our world gets too close to their world, no one can predict what would happen. And I’m in no hurry to find out. I’m content to be a “normal” guy to most people, with a few friends who love me and know the truth. I’ve got no ambition to be in a modern day freak show, even if it meant I miss the chance to appear on Oprah.
