Sunday, September 6, 2009: early evening
I had just enough time to heat up some soup and gulp it down while I gave the ferrets some attention, and time out of their cage. Their sheer joy at being out reminded me that I hadn’t been giving them quite enough attention lately. Ferrets don’t need lots of time to play. They have two speeds. Fast and Stop. These two are still young, less than two, and so their “Fast” is very fast, but they can’t sustain it for long. About an hour (maybe two) of mad play, and they are ready to sleep. Unfortunately, I haven’t been home long enough lately to let them have much play time.
