Saturday, September 5, 2009: just after sunset
I changed out of my robe and into jeans and a t–shirt. I also let the ferrets out of their cage. They danced around me, and their antics calmed my mood. A bit. I was still angry, but I was calm enough to see that doing anything hasty would likely just make things worse. We still needed more information, and my network of psychics might know something.
But right now, finding the bodies of the kid’s parents might yield even more.
I called Paul, and he picked up quickly.
“Hey.”
