I had to check in with Candy to find McDonald’s office, but she pointed me in the right direction. However, she did look disappointed that it was only me. Tough luck for her.
I poked my head into McDonald’s office, which was surprisingly small and austere. After the conference room, I had expected something grander than a mid-sized wooden desk, maybe oak—I’m no druid—modest leather chair and a couple of book-covered shelves. From the door, I could make out a few of the titles—an odd mix of occult and business success. Two straight backed chairs for visitors rounded out the room.
