Chapter 13

September 20, 2011 Late morning

Paul and I had left Lounge 201 soon after our conversation with Damien. I needed to get some sleep because I had daytime activities the following day.

Damien had thought he could arrange an introduction to McDonald later the following afternoon, and I wanted to be ready for that. I also needed to call Jim to let him know we needed to talk soon.

I was able to catch him before he left for his classes, and he said he would call me that evening. I also left a message for Caitlyn. Lots had happened since she and I had last spoken, and we needed to touch base.

Laura had left both me and Paul text messages with the locations of other buildings McDonald’s company was working on. Once I had gotten up, we had looked at them. H...
