"Well, remember that wealthy family I mentioned? They couldn't make this one go away, but they were able to raise bail. Young Tim was arraigned last week. The trial is set for January, but that gives you plenty of time to talk to this guy."

"I don't suppose you have an address for him?" I asked.

"I do, but I can do one better than that. I can give you the bar where he hangs out."

My mouth almost dropped open. "You've got to be kidding me? He's out on bail and still hanging around the same bar where he killed someone?"

"Not real smart, but yes, that's pretty much it. Nothing in his bail arrangement that prevents him from drinking in public."
