Okay, now that was an interesting approach. I thought back to our prior encounter with the developer. I found it unlikely that he didn't know, or have some idea, of who had interfered with his werewolf plans. I'm well known in the community, and Paul had been working with Runner's pack for years. Any of McDonald's wolf bully boys, and I didn't for a minute think we'd eliminated all of them, could have reported back. And yet, the developer hadn't retaliated in any way. In hindsight, I guess I should have been more concerned about him. Perhaps he had just viewed it as the cost of doing business. It would have been too much trouble to get rid of me?
