Chapter 4

September 16, 2011. Late evening

"Where do you live?" Paul asked Caitlyn as we walked to the car.

"Alexandria, near the Braddock Road Metro," Caitlyn answered.

Paul nodded as he unlocked the car with his key fob. "I know the area. One of the apartment complexes?"

"Yes. Thanks for the offer of a ride, but if it's inconvenient, we're near the Metro right now, and I could just take the train home."

As tempting as the offer was because it would get me home earlier, I wanted to see where she lived. You can tell a lot about someone by their home, and if Caitlyn was going to be my apprentice, I needed to know as much about her as possible.
