Paul poked his head out of the kitchen. “Will using the short version put him on his guard and make the long version less likely to work?”

Jim shook his head. “Good question, but I don’t think so. The long version is designed to work on apostate angels. Azazel certainly qualifies. I admit I’ve never used it on something so powerful, but it should work. Especially if I back it up with the workings I’m planning.”

“I’d be curious to see those,” Dafydd said.
